Cold Northern Michigan View

We drove back to Northern Michigan for a few days to visit the Barrett side of the family and stayed at the Grand Traverse Resort near Traverse City. It was not as grand as I expected. The recent renovations have left the tower rooms very nice but for some reason the hotel management has decided to not let their guests control the temperatures of their rooms. We spent three sweaty, uncomfortable nights here and will never stay here again.

At Uncle Rick’s house on Long island, Amelia received a toy parrot that asks for food when you push its beak down. Amelia got the hang of it right away.

For Christmas, Amelia received a play kitchen. She spent hours on Christmas morning stacking the plastic pots & pans, opening and closing the doors.
